Richard Rust, graduated from the University of North Florida with a B.B.A. in accounting in 1990, and earned his CPA in 1994. He has almost 30 years of experience working with investment & tax clients.
Richard started his investment advisory journey in 1994 with Avantax (formerly H.D. Vest), an investment advisory firm that worked with CPA’s. He joined Packerland Brokerage Services in 2020, and formed Peace Point Investment Management, LLC in 2025. He was initially influenced by the benefits he realized in his own investment portfolio, and he wanted to help others.
Richard primarily works with established investors and small business owners helping them choose the right investments and investment structures, in alignment with both current and future tax reduction.
Richard also presents seminars to local business professionals relating to investment, tax and business planning. He is an active member of his church and spends his free time with his family and friends.
